Our unique Nokogari gardening shears are utilise one straight, sharp blade mated against a toothed blade, with its serrations pointing backwards towards the gullet of the tool.

This allows them to tenaciously grip branches and makes them better suited to pruning than a classic pair of straight-bladed hedge shears. They are able to deal with branches up to 15mm thick, while still retaining an excellent edge.

Perfect for working ornamental trees and shrubs that need a deeper prune or have thick stems that pose problems for "normal" hedge shears.

This short handled pair is perfect for working below shoulder height and gives the gardener excellent control.

Like all gardening tools we recommend blades are cleaned with a solvent (such as Yanipika) and wiped with a lubricant such as Camellia oil before putting away.
